Getting to the Event
Parking:

All attendees are required to use hotel Valet - Arc will cover the cost. Mention you're with Arc Institute when you drop off your car.

Bring your luggage inside; Arc will store it for you at registration.

Arrival & Room Keys

Arrive between 11:00 AM–12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15th.

Bypass the front desk - Arc event team members will be at the hotel entrance to guide you to Event Registration.

Baggage storage available with the event team until room keys are ready in the afternoon.

Room keys will be distributed at the Registration Table on Day 1 - some available on arrival, others after presentations.

Once you have your key in the afternoon, you'll have time to settle in before dinner.
Front Desk & Check-Out

No need to check in/out at the front desk - unless you want room service, to use your in-room honor bar, have additional meals, or book spa services.

If so, visit the front desk during room key pick-up to provide a personal credit card for these expenses.

We are thrilled to return to Half Moon Bay, California for the 2026 Investigator Retreat. Located just 30 miles from Arc's headquarters along the stunning Pacific coastline, this charming seaside town provides a tranquil escape from the everyday — offering researchers the ideal environment to connect, collaborate, and engage in meaningful scientific exchange.
Retreat programming and lodging will both take place at 1 Miramontes Rd, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019.
